Luisa has always been a fierce advocate and educator for health and well-living.  From assessing client’s joint functionality, range of motion, and muscle strength as a licensed massage therapist at New York Health & Racquet Club, to the support and education of the benefits of breastfeeding and supervising peer counselors at Brownsville Multi-Service Family Health Center-WIC (BMS-WIC), to teaching mentally challenged clients essential skills for independent living at Association for the Help of Retarded Children NYC (AHRC NYC), to providing excellent customer service at Neurobehavioral Research Inc, she has shown her passion for service to a wide array of community needs.

In 2016, she completed the Oncology Massage Training and Certificate Program at the Center for Advancement of Therapeutic Arts (CATA) in NYC, and subsequently earned the NCBTMB Specialty Certificate in Oncology Massage.  She joined the CATA Oncology Massage Studio team as a clinical supervisor (2017-2020) under the tutelage of Felicia Newsome, and has since devoted her attention to serving the oncology population at Mt Sinai Beth Israel (2017 - 2020), and NYU Langone’s Clinical Cancer Center (2019-present) as an Oncology Massage Therapist.   In 2021, Luisa joined the Advanced Massage Specialty Group, Inc faculty as Director of Diversity & Inclusion, where she oversees the development of bilingual (educational) content, and joined the Body Craft Massage Therapy team.
